| The Cary Town Band, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) corporation. As such, contributions and donations are fully tax deductible and greatly appreciated. Copies of supporting documentation are available on request from the director. Contributions are generally used to pay for rehearsal space, for the acquisition and care of music, and for maintenance of percussion equipment and the band van, used to transport heavy equipment to and from concert events and rehearsals. The band is a 100% volunteer organization. No members receive any monetary compensation for their playing time and talents. Contributions of any amount may be given by check made out to Cary Town Band and sent by mail to: Cary Town Band 715 Madison Avenue Cary, NC 27513 Acknowledgements and receipts are provided on request. Contributions by check or cash may be made at most public concerts by dropping them in a contributions box provided for that purpose (usually) near a side or rear entrance to the performance area. Donations of music or equipment are handled on a case by case basis, coordinated with the director. |
